Moderate
Moderate input evidence · 68% evidence coverage
The main recorded demands are balanced overall demands. Course difficulty and cutoff pressure describe different challenges: more approachable terrain can still require a demanding pace to beat the deadline. Neither score assesses your personal fitness, safety or readiness.
Difficulty V2's separate time-limit modifier adds 0.00 points here and is capped at 0.70; a broad limit cannot erase extreme intrinsic demand. This is independent of the public Cutoff Pressure V2 band. Evidence coverage describes the recorded inputs, not prediction accuracy or your likelihood of finishing.
Course analysis
Expect sustained upland ground and meaningful climbing.
Climbing density
35.1m per km
A more useful comparison than total ascent alone: it shows how consistently the course asks you to climb.
Cutoff analysis
To finish inside 12h, the raw average required is 16:34 per kilometre (26:40 per mile), including every stop.
Cutoff pressure compares the published time limit with distance, ascent and verified course demands. Lower pressure does not mean the race is easy. Raw pace includes checkpoints, food stops, navigation errors and any sleep; it is not a pacing plan.
Who this suits
There is not enough verified information to assess first-ultra suitability yet.
Navigation
Route-finding is part of the challenge. Carry the required mapping tools and be able to use them in darkness and poor visibility.
Exposure & kit
Night running is not expected for most entrants based on the current format, but final kit rules still take priority.
Personal race predictor
No current compatible predictor target is available for this family. The selected edition may be complete or cancelled, awaiting a successor, non-standard, or missing model-critical course evidence; older facts are not substituted.

Latest verification
Checked 13 September 2026. Overall time limit: 12 hours. The LDWA event listing says 27 miles while organiser copy says 28; use the listing's 27-mile scalar. About 5,000 ft is published. The published limit is 12 hours, but walkers start at 08:00, runners at 09:00 and the common finish is 20:00, implying a conflicting 11-hour runner window. This schedule conflict remains explicit. Prices were GBP 18 member / GBP 26 non-member. Other stored facts retain their previous source review from 2026-09-03.
Elevation is approximate or awaiting final confirmation.
Event details can change after a successful source check. Confirm the final route, kit, cutoff, price and entry terms directly with the organiser before entering or travelling.
