Official headline and checkpoint table both publish 55.1 miles. The standalone field is limited to 20, with up to 20 additional MTC Scotia runners sharing the day. Entrants receive route maps/GPX shortly before the race, carry mandatory navigation and safety kit, and use organiser live tracking; the route is therefore stored as self-navigation rather than marked.
